Website Design Options

Five different home page designs for the new church website. Each one has its own layout and colors, drawn from patterns used on well-designed church websites. Gray striped boxes mark where pictures and videos will go.

Alaska Story

Full-screen photography with words laid over each picture, like a story you scroll through. Dark night-sky tones with an aurora-green accent.

Two-Column Classic

A side panel with the logo, menu, service times and address stays in view while the page scrolls beside it. Deep spruce green, birch white and brass, with a classic book-style serif.

Tile Grid

Everything on the home page arranged in rounded tiles of different sizes, like a modern app. Deep blue with a sunrise-orange accent.

Quiet & Minimal

Lots of white space, very large type and only a few pictures, so the words carry the page. Black and white with a single deep-red accent.

Traditional Centered

A formal, centered masthead with the menu between gold rules, a framed welcome box over the top picture, boxed columns and alternating light and dark bands. Navy, deep wine and gold.

How to compare: open any design, then use the bar at the bottom of the screen to switch between A through E. Each design can also be mixed with another, for example “B’s layout with E’s colors.”
